Report #2 – Truck Driver Has Daytime Bigfoot Sighting on Hwy 56 in Wilton, NC
Incident Description:
I was driving a tractor-trailer truck on my work route about midday on Highway 56 between Wilton and Franklinton. While driving this mostly wooded road from Wilton to Franklinton, I noticed to my left was a newly cleared area of dirt with a wide dirt road leading off the road to the north. When I looked at the dirt road, trying to figure out what was being constructed, I saw a large, black Bigfoot walking across the dirt road several yards off the highway. I could not believe what I had just seen. As I kept driving, my helper obviously could see by the look on my face that something was wrong, because she asked me, “What’s wrong, did we miss our turn?” I didn’t answer her at first trying to absorb what I had just seen. She kept asking what was wrong. At the next road, I slowed down and turned my tractor-trailer around to head back to the area I saw the Bigfoot. I told my helper I just saw a Bigfoot, and she encouraged me to go back to it. We drove back to the place I saw the Bigfoot but it was already out of sight. There are thick woods on each side of the dirt road where I saw it walking. We assumed it went into the woods by the time we returned to that area. The creature was very large, bulky and had brownish/black hair or fur. It reminded me very much of Patty from the Patterson-Gimlin footage the way it walked and seemed a bit hunched over. It was too far away to make out any facial features. Shortly after seeing this creature, I felt sick….sick to my stomach and nervous. I felt dreadful and sad. That very week, I had a bad nightmare in which I saw my own death.

My helper was with me but did not see the creature as she was looking down working on her phone.

Have heard about Bigfoot sightings being reported about 45 minutes to the northeast.
Follow-Up Investigation:
Spoke to the witness a few days after the sighting. He was driving his company tractor-trailer truck on a delivery route when he saw the creature to the left on a dirt road in a newly constructed area. Both sides of the dirt road are lined with thick woods. The witness was very shaken, almost traumatized by the incident. Not so much by seeing the creature, but how he felt afterwards. He said he was overwhelmed with a dreadful feeling, almost immense sadness. He said he also felt sick to his stomach. These symptoms lasted about a week. During that week he had a horrible nightmare where he saw his own death. The witness said the nightmare felt so real and entailed him having a deadly heart attack while on his delivery job. The witness was very credible and was still emotionally trying to deal with what he had experienced a few days earlier.

Report #1 – Tractor-Trailer Driver Has Possible Early Morning Dogman Sighting
Incident Description:
I drive a delivery tractor-trailer truck for a living. I was on a delivery route driving on Gum Springs Church Road in Moncure, NC. It was very early, approximately 6:15 am, still dark and raining. As I was approaching a curve in the road, my headlights shined on a narrow dirt path located in the curve between two wooded residential lots. On the dirt path just out of the wood line and back off the road, I saw a black dog-like creature squatting while holding and eating something that looked like bloody flesh. This creature looked like a large German Shepherd Dog, black fur all over, except with whatever it was holding were hands, not paws. It was definitely not sitting like a dog….more like a squatted human, but the head was very canine. As I my headlights shined on this creature, it looked up and I saw red eyes. I wanted to go back to get another look at it, but I was on the job and had my co-worker with me.

My co-worker was with me, but he did not say anything about it, so I assumed he did not see it. I did not say anything to my co-worker about what I had just seen as I feared he would think I’m crazy.
Additional Information:
Prior to seeing the creature, my co-worker and I saw multiple rabbits running out of the woods onto the road.

Follow-Up Investigation
The witness is a researcher/investigator with The Veil Project – Southeastern Cryptid & Anomaly Survey. He called me shortly after the sighting and was very bothered by what he had seen. We both went back to the sighting location a few days later during daylight hours to investigate the area. We were unable to investigate the dirt path where the creature was seen as it was on private property. The area was very wooded with residential properties. We did notice a Church with a graveyard just up the road from the sighting location. Just prior to the sighting, the witness and his co-worker saw several rabbits coming out onto the road from the woods. The witness said that he did not give too much thought to the rabbits when they initially saw them, but after seeing the creature, he found the whole incident very strange and unnerving.
